Bursting onto the scene in 2006 amidst a flurry of excitement and hype, Sharooz’s whirlwind debut ‘Hell Yeah’ became one of the club records of that year, winning the support of the world’s biggest DJs: Roger Sanchez aired it at his exclusive Release Yourself party at Space Miami, David Guetta played it to 20,000 people at Sensation White, DJ Dan spun it live on his Essential Mix at the Ultra Festival in Miami, Pacha Ibiza resident Richard Grey put it on his eponymous Ministry album, Max Graham caned it, XFM lauded it, Capital FM plauded it, Galaxy FM mashed it up and DMC placed it at no.2 in their Buzz and Cool Cuts Chart. Played numerous times on Radio 1 by Judge Jules and Pete Tong, it appeared on compilations in Germany, France, Spain, Russia, Japan and of course the UK, on Ministry of Sound’s Mash-Up 2007, debuting at no.2 in the UK compilation charts and selling over 60,000 units.
Sharooz has also released “My Distressor” on MofoHifi and remixed for the MofoHifi team several times.
